Cashew Cheese

Full disclosure, I looked up a few recipe and this is the basic recipe everyone uses. After this its adapted depending on what it’s being used for.
Play with adding different flavors for different occasions! Here is the basic recipe:

1 cup cashews (raw soaked overnight or at least an hour)
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
1 TBS chopped garlic
1 tsp sea salt (or try a different salt, like smoked salt or herbed salt!)
1 TBS lemon juice – this makes the recipe
Cracked multi colored pepper (as much as you like)
1 tsp whole mustard seeds (optional, but I like a little spice in my cheese ; )

Place all in food processor or blender, add a little water as needed but go slow you don’t want runny cheese!
Try adding more garlic, or basil, parsley, cilantro, or sun-dried tomatoes! Have fun, and relax they won’t all be winners but how do you know which one is your go to if you don’t try them?
